Well, at least the little girl at the bus shelter is still only making the rude hand gestures instead of riding downhill at you.
Someday I’m gonna catch up with that girl and chew her out for doing that.

ParticipantYou: The lady who walked across 25th in front of Saudi Arabia with nary a glance at traffic.

ParticipantYou: disembodied shoes on the gravel sidepath on the W&OD
Me: cyclist pleased that a ninja jogger was at least wearing reflective shoesJackhole! You turned out to be a cunning ninja strategist; you sucked me in with your reflective shoes, lulling me into believing I knew where you were, while guiding two enormous and invisible black dogs on the pavement.
WTF would you run the dogs on the pavement.

ParticipantI had a nice little interaction with a cabbie on PA Ave today. And by nice I mean I asked him why he stopped in the cycletracks and then he called me an as***le and I laughed at him. He was really mad. It was clear he knew he was wrong and wasn’t big enough to admit it.

ParticipantAt about 10:00 pm on S. Joyce Street by Pentagon Row I saw a man of an advanced age riding a CaBi very slowly down the bike lane wearing a helmet with a very bright light, and blinkies on both arms facing trailing traffic. He also stopped to let me cut across the sidewalk.
Awesome.

ParticipantDear Bicycle Commuter I Have Previously Called Out For Salmoning Down N. Van Dorn Between Braddock and Menokin:
DUDE. DUDE!
You SERIOUSLY HAVE TO STOP THIS.
This morning there were cars swerving out of their lanes to avoid hitting you.
You do this every morning and you are eventually going to kill someone, probably with someone else’s car.
RIDE ON THE RIGHT FREAKING SIDE OF THE ROAD YOU YELLOW JACKET OF AUTHORITY-WEARING MORAN!
Thank you.

You: A bad clicheSeptember 26, 2013 at 1:21 pm #982141consularrider
ParticipantI’m hoping you’re not the older gentleman in the red t-shirt on a black road bike with anger management issues heading south between the first MVT overpass at the northern edge of Reagan-National until the Airport Access Rd underpass towards the southern edge at around 5:15.

Of course not! I believe you were the very polite gentleman observing the stop sign at the Custis and W&OD Trails intersection and acknowledging the right turn signals of the two riders turning right from the W&OD onto the Cusits.
