    My wife and I would like to host the June TTHH out in Fairfax. Our thought is the Green Turtle in Fairfax at Old Town (3950 University Drive Suite 209, Fairfax, VA 22030) plaza (There is connected outdoor seating for the Green Turtle (sports pub), Asian Bistro (Thai and sushi), Wine House (wine bar and h’ores douvres), and Boliwood (Indian) restaurants) that could fit any taste. We missed out tonight becuase we are always coaching soccer on Thursday nights in the spring and fall, so we have some catching up to do. I think we can work with FABB for support as well, and as always everyone is invited. Cheers!

    Love the idea of a Fairfax gathering but just a head’s up…I think a HH in DC has been planned already that night. Here is the link to the thread Steve started a while back:

    Not sure what everyone’s thoughts are, but the last I looked August 15th was still available and needed a volunteer, or we have two HH’s on the same night, either way….love that everyone is getting involved!

    Thanks to everyone who showed up–or who may even still be at the beer garden **cough**dismal**cough**–and contributed to what I believe was the first non-Shirlington HH. Gives me hope that we can make these happen all around the area and continue to bring in new folks who may be seeing areas of Arlington (or FFX or DC) that they wouldn’t visit otherwise. Overall, a great lead-in to BTWD tomorrow, and hopefully I’ll see at least some of you before next month!

    So wish I could have been there with you all – it’s killing me to be away from home this week! Looks like you had a great time. Thanks for organizing, and Happy Bike to Work Day, everyone!

    Will be missing all the fun rides with friends and BTWD swag, but hope to see ya’ll out on the roads and trails. Tour de Fat is coming up too!
