Ohio Drive is one-way, northwest only, from Haines Point to the Lincoln Memorial with bike-unfriendly barriers at all entrances and lots of Park Police presence. All for the convenience of driving past the cherry blossoms. 😡
Thanks, but I won’t bother filing a report. The entire street and bike lanes need to be swept from Montana Ave. to Florida. (Probably by hand, thanks to the ubiquitous flexi-bollards.) Heaven forbid that one agency could oversee street maintenance. Additionally, the lanes are too narrow. A bike infrastructure fail.
Please submit a report. 311 has been responsive when I’ve done it, and I think they have specialized smaller street sweepers for the bike lanes.
