    So. Kidical Mass Arlington. If I organize it, will they [y’all ] come?

    Here was my thought:

    May 18th (MegaBeth…) or 19th – KidicalMassARL soft opening (first ride, but not as widely publicized, to work out kinks)
    June 15th or 16th (Father’s Day!) – KidicalMassARL INAUGURAL AWESOMENESS RIDE
    July 20th or 21st – KidicalMassARL hitting our stride ride
    September 21st or 22nd – KidicalMassARL harvest ride (aka last official ride until next year)

    October whatever-it-is-this-year – KidicalMassARL joins the family ride at the Arlington Fun Ride

    So basically the 3rd weekend of every month, but not August, because no one is around in August. And either Saturday or Sunday.

    Thoughts? Reactions? Route suggestions? Would anyone come?

    I like the idea of having the sides to lean against when she get tired though I don’t think I want to add something that big to the box. I definitely appreciate the offer and will let you know if I second guess myself.

    The bench sounds great… maybe a DIY project to look into.

    FYI, Kidical Mass Arlington / Arlington Fun Ride Family Ride meets 10am this Saturday, Oct. 5 at 18th and Crystal Dr in Crystal City (start/finish of the AFR).

    If you prefer*:
    – Sleeping in
    – Tunnels
    – Riding with kids
    – True group-ride style
    – 3.5 mostly flat miles
    – Finishing a ride to a cheering section

    Then sleep in and join us for the Family Ride! (Or do the full ride really fast, then join us for the Family Ride)

    *Some of these things are also on the full AFR, but aren’t as cool. :-)
