Has anyone had a problem with their CaBi key on the renewal date?

I renewed my annual membership, with the final date of the 1st year being Oct. 3, 2011. That’s also the day that my key stopped working. I called customer service to have a new key sent to me. But I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem on the last day of their annual membership. It just seems odd that the key would stop working on that day.

I didn’t have any problems on my renewal date, though I’m not sure I tried to use it that day. I did just have to request a new key because my awesome black one is going to split in half any day now.
