Nice. Same ones I have, though it looks like you did a much neater job installing them than I did! My front mud guard is a bit messed up from getting stuck under the wheel a few times, but that was due to user error I think.

Had them put on at spokes etc. I wouldn’t try it myself. Almost bought purple streamers for the handle bars but I held back. Even clipped in for
A little while today still scares me but I am learning.

I scored my first QOM today, thanks to Freezing Saddles introducing me to Strava. Watch out, Mr. Kelley, I’m coming after you . . .! ;-)

Way to go teammate! And I have to put in some more miles to get the top female spot back (though being tied with you is pretty cool)…. loving this motivation! And the warm weather doesn’t hurt either:)

I’m glad to see some of my team mates on the Rock Ridge Riders have gotten their rides logged! Moved us up in the standings! :D

I didn’t get the ride I wanted today because of all the fog and mist. Things were just too wet and visibility too poor to really ride agressively on the Arlington hills, so I settled for a little bit of hills added to an Arlington Loop and a trip around Hains Point.

What was it with almost no one with their lights on, cars and bikes?

We never did have any sunshine what a bummer. I just ride to my local cvs and got the paper. What a bummer.

You really buried Chris Randall on that segment too!

Hmmmm, when did I ride that segment? Maybe with the Arlington over 50s crowd for a sunset/full moon ride last fall? It would have been interesting to climb to the “top” of Long Bridge Park yesterday in the middle of the fog/mist and see (or not see) what was around. Certainly couldn’t see much from the middle of the 14th Street Bridge bike/pedestrian path. :D

Dont know what you are talking about. I had one of my best commutes this morn. It was like I was flying south down the MVT. Boy… I must be getting stronger…. better legs… this is so easy… what a great morning.

[Turns East on 14th St Bridge – gets hit with cross wind that had been pushing me down the MVT]

Oh. Merde. Ride home is gonna be fun.

Guess you should have left a little earlier, winds were calm from 7 to 8 am. :p

However, I did feel a drop in temperature along the Potomac after crossing under Memorial Bridge heading towards Roosevelt Island. The NWS reports the temperature has started dropping since it peaked at 61° this morning and I expect I will be underdressed when it is time to ride home. :(
