ParticipantRough timeline of my #BAFS commute:
**imagine 60 Minutes stopwatch ticking
5:00PM: check Weather.com. 43 and cloudy. “Sweet, I don’t need rain gear.”
5:20PM: walk from building to bike rack (located in garage) in pouring rain. “Okay, guess I DO need the rain gear.”
5:21PM: put on rain gear, readjust pannier accordingly
5:25PM: exit parking garage. rain has stopped. “fuuuuuuuuu…..”
5:25:15PM: “Maybe I’ll stop and take off my rain coat…nah, I’ll just sweat it out.”
5:30PM: sweating profusely, still not raining.
5:35PM: “do you not see my 300L blinky??? yes, people still ride bicycles in the rain a-hole!!”
5:38PM: sweating profusely, still not raining.
5:39PM: “do you not see my 300L blinky??? yes, people still ride bicycles in the rain a-hole!!”
5:42PM: sweating profusely, still not raining.
5:45PM: “do you not see my 300L blinky??? yes, people still ride bicycles in the rain a-hole!!”
5:50PM: “do you not see my 300L blinky??? yes, people still ride bicycles in the rain a-hole!!”
5:55PM: sweating profusely, still not raining.
6:00PM: home.
