If it is going to be in the 60s this weekend, any interest in a group ride? I am thinking go out the WOD and have lunch somewhere? Something like

11 am Ballston to Vienna or Reston for lunch

I’ll be at Carolina Brothers around 12:30. I expect that it will be crowded. :D

Is riding for money “cheating”? :)

Meethinks that Hans is going for the longest “oops I missed my office, commute” with 35 extra miles this morning.

that would kill me I cannot imagine trying to ride lugging all that behind me. Just lugging my body weight is enough to make me stay on my diet. That just looks so hard. Wow.

Cpt John should be getting on board Team 11 soon, giving us a full compliment of five riders. Watch out Team 2 (currently directly ahead of us in the standings)

I think team ‘II’ needs a logo.

    How about ‘eye-eye’:

    or an ‘aye-aye’:

    What do you think? haha…

I think you claimed that podium spot long ago with your “accidental” rides to Purcelville :) I have to pack my miles in during the week since my weekends are always very low mileage. Team 5 & 9 are pretty serious competition, but we’ll make them work for it ;) With you back in the saddle this week, our weekly mileage trend looks very promising. (Sounds like you should have skipped today, though! Hope you feel better.)

How could you pick anything besides aye-aye. Brilliant.

I believe the aye-aye is most appropriate. I must admit look like that aye-aye after my morning commute and I pull off my skull cap…

I’d like to nominate my evening commute yesterday for honorable mention:

With only one or two exceptions, I’ve been doing some kind of really long route in or home every day. I think the most I’ve stretched it is about 20 miles. It should be about 2.5 door-to-door.

Sounds like a pointless award candidate: Most circuitous route home. Anyone wanna volunteer to develop and award this award?
