I’d like to request that there be a “leaderboard” for friends for freeze points, this year or next, the way there is a “leaderboard” for regular points for friends (at https://freezingsaddles.org/people/friends).
I”d like to know how I am doing in this category, please. I was enjoying seeing my freeze points until they disappeared when the teams were established. On one occasion I would not have ridden but for the motivation of getting such points – the regular points are less motivating for me – and on two other occasions I chose to ride at a colder time of day in order to increase my freeze points. As someone said in the freeze points forum thread from many years ago, this tabulation is in the spirit of the event. They motivate me to go a little colder, so to speak.
I wasn’t at any particular level of competition – I was “mid-table” the last time I was on the table, so into the 100s – so I am not looking to create a category in which to achieve. I’d just like to see some evidence of my activity without having to choose to be on a team if that isn’t a fit for me. I”m not looking to be on the freezing points leader board with team participants.
