ParticipantFrom the Little City:
“We wanted to remind everyone that the City is working on a bicycle master plan – which would identify important routes for people who choose to travel by bicycle. All are welcome to join the discussion meeting on Wednesday, May 13th in the Dogwood Room at City Hall from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m.
The City’s adopted transportation master plan, titled “Mobility for all Modes”, calls for development of a transportation network that provides safe choices of travel modes. Pursuant to that vision, Mobility for all Modes calls for development of a Bicycle Master Plan that provides bicycle access throughout the City. In coordination with City Boards and Commissions, City staff has been working on a draft Bicycle Master Plan. More information on the plan is available … here.”

That’s easy: Lincoln Ave. I’ve heard that there’s a parallel route but it must not be important since it has a stop sign every block. 😡

ParticipantThere’s a ‘voluntary easement’ thingy from the WOD+Grove intersection straight to Giant that I’m very stoked about. Very. My contractually bound female human and I intend to be there tomorrow.

While it’s funny, that cop hasn’t been there in a long time – at least a year and a half. Have there been more recent sightings? My understanding is that we got a new police chief who tired of some of the policing annoyances and did away with them.

I would love to go, but I’m triple booked: work event in Rosslyn, Board of Supervisors Comprehensive Plan meeting for the Tysons Corner Urban Center at the FFX County Government Center and this FCC meeting.

Following the BTWD thread I no longer feel guilty about my prejudice.
