FABB meeting in Mt Vernon

This Wednesday, September 18, at 7PM, FABB will hold its meeting at Supervisor Dan Storck’s office, 2511 Parkers Lane, Alexandria. There will be a lot to talk about with all that’s happening with Embark Richmond Hwy and the GWMP study. We’ll also discuss the upcoming Tour de Mount Vernon. Hope you can make it!

Thanks for posting. I can’t make it, but would it be possible to raise the issue with root heaves on the trail from the TR Bridge to the main MVT? They smoothed these heaves a few years ago, but they need to do it again. People biking can build up speed going downhill, and the bumps aren’t easy to see, and so they could cause a serious crash.

I don’t think there will be any NPS officials at the meeting. Good idea to report these bumps though!
