With the wheel lock only half engaged. Looks like one of the ones the neighborhood kids unlock with pliers instead of a cell phone.

I heard you tried a dockless traffic cone.

The problem with dockless traffic cones is that people just park them anywhere.
There’s one of these on either side of the bridge over the channel in LBJ. Waiting for accordioneur to rescue them in his kayak.

ParticipantI chatted with a guy riding a scooter (his own) in the 15th St Cycletrack yesterday. It was pretty neat. It had integrated headlights and also a horn.

I think the most unfortunate side effect of the dockless bike share will be the unexpected CaBi bills.

I ran an errand on Saturday, starting and finishing at the same CaBi station. I saw a CaBi left in the doorway of a building as I walked to the station. Since it was still there when I walked by after my errand, I decided to take pity on the person and docked for them. Of course, in the back of my mind, I was thinking, “Time for a joyride!”

I’ve seen this happen several times since the dockless pilot began. The CaBi folks are rather forgiving on correcting bills.

Ah. We all love rent seeking, unless it’s someone seeking to end our rent…
