Deep pothole on river path near Kennedy Center

There’s a pretty deep pothole on the southern end of the Rock Creek Trail by the Kennedy Center. It’s right where the path looks like a promenade and has those periodic “bumps” of cement and brick. I’ve done my best to approximate the location in the link below, but I could be off a bit. It’s on the eastern side of the trail, probably where some bricks are missing.

I went right into it the other night (because I couldn’t see it – that’s another post) with a big THWACK. How I didn’t get a flat I have no idea…
