One of my teammates who was on the leaderboard but not on the strava team yet has been dumped from the leaderboard. Related?
Probably not. If they aren’t on a team they won’t show up on the leaderboard anymore. That is by design. If they are on a team and don’t show up after an hour or so, then that might be related.

Different challenge!
bunderwunder ™ shows on their own team (bottom of the team chart) They are and have been listed on our strava club (https://www.strava.com/clubs/250622) funky character issue with the database from the TM? They show on the leaderboard as “bunderwunder t”January 13, 2017 at 9:21 am #1063664Dirt

I suspect it will sort itself out, but if you are still off the leaderboard in the AM, let me know. It may be a fix I attempted to make for excluding the slackers team (which turned into a rabbit hole — and didn’t actually happen in the end).
It looks like about 70 people dropped off the leaderboard last night. Not complaining! I know it will all sort out. Just thought that I’d let you know. Thank you very much for making this all happen. Y’all are amazing.

Love,
PeteI solved my personal problem. I wasn’t showing up because I hadn’t clicked “Login” on the leaderboard page and connected via Strava. Hopefully that solves it for other team members.

Love,
PeteYeah, when we dropped the old BAFS 2017 team from the list this dropped many people off the leaderboard. Sorry for the confusion. I think it was made worse by me trying to add logic to treat slackers team differently. That was not fully thought out.
Anyway, I will check in when I am back in front of my computer. Some folks may need to re-authorize the application (clicking “Log In” will do it) so that it gets correct team affiliation, though I thought the team associations should have updated automatically.

I think it was more like 69.

ParticipantHmm. Strange. When I logged onto the Freezing Saddles site this morning, there was only one person (bunderwunder) showing up. Once I clicked the “Log In” button, I showed up. Now there are four of us.
I am assuming everyone just needs to “Log In” and reauthorize the app?

I too saw some odd data and after reading your post I logged in. Now the site looks like it is well populated. charts and leader boards have the teams now.

I too saw some strange data earlier, but now it looks like it did last night. No login, just a refresh. (bunderwunder still off all on their lonesome)

ParticipantI realized that the problem @Judd was experiencing was probably because I had made configuration changes and not restarted the web server piece. Anyway, everything should be pushed up and correct now.
The Slackers team shouldn’t show up on the team points leaderboard, but should show up anywhere else. This is obviously an area of some contention. We need to sort that out for next year. (Honestly, I’m not sure I have another year of FS support in me, but we’ll see.)

ParticipantKudos on the updated FS site. Thanks!

ParticipantThanks to Jon for website updates. BTW, folks, freezingsaddles.com is down for maintenance for a little bit. Transitioning it to a place where it will be easier for others (e.g. Jon) to help update/manage directly.

ParticipantSorry if this question has been answered already but is there away to make “private” rides count? Thanks

Yes. Go to freezingsaddles.com/authorize and authorize it to read your private rides.

ParticipantThank you every one that has been working on this!!!!
I’m now showing up properly with my team. I’m not sure if it was because my handle was originally misspelled or since I changed my strava handle after my initial authorization, but for a number of days I was my own team, then I wasn’t on a team at all! I only showed up by person. After logging in for two days in a row, it seems to be picking up all my rides.
My point being, if anyone else is still struggling, it took me more than one reauthorization to straighten everything out. Be well!
