I own a suitsack. It’ good for it’s purpose of carrying suits (I really wish I were like many fed employees getting to do the business casual thing) and generally doesn’t get wet unless you’re riding through some torrential downpours (even then, only part of it will get a little wet. The big downside is wind. Because it’s wider to accommodate only having to fold a suit in half once, it manages to either be a sail or a dead weight on a windy days. To the point I notice it when I’m riding on windy days without it. Anyway, depends on distance, needs, etc, but I do like it. I think they’re made it Canada.

I second what others have said about sweaty backs. OTOH, I don’t like the additional weight of rack + pannier. However, I’m fortunate to have access to a shower/changing room at work, and enough space in my cube to preposition clothes. In the summer, this allows me to ride in with nothing more than a small handlebar bag to hold my wallet, lunch and underwear. In the winter, when I often have to add/shed layers, I use a backpack to carry my extra gear.

No complaints. Even set up for a water bladder (works great with my camelbak)
