For reporting purposes a crash involves a bicyclist and a motor vehicle, pedestrian or another bicyclist. A Close Call is usually a motor vehicle driver violating a three feet to pass rule or law. An incident is any other event involving a bicyclist, including falls where a bicyclist does not maintain control of the bicycle.

When reporting an event please provide a good description of the location, direction of travel and any other relevant details. Caveat: if you suspect a lawsuit or insurance claim may result from a crash only minimal information should be posted.
