From MWCOG:
“Our regional goal for Bike to Work Day 2013 was a 10% increase over last year, that would have brought us to 14,000. We beat that by another 600 to reach 14,600, a 15% increase!”
Thanks for coming out everyone!!
May 21, 2013 at 7:11 pm #970822OvertoneParticipantTim- Do you have info from the bike/ped counter on the 4MR trail: what was the increase in the number of bikes there compared to an ordinary fine-weather day in May?

Don’t forget to look at Sunday too
May 28, 2013 at 8:40 pm #971202DrewdaneParticipantSo, I had a family emergency and needed to go out of town – any way I can get a t-shirt anyhow?

I’ve got 3 XLs left at my desk. Come and get one before they’re gone!
May 29, 2013 at 1:12 pm #971253DrewdaneParticipantSweet! Where’s your desk? Thanks!

We’re in Rosslyn–drop me an email at info@bikearlington.com and we’ll figure out logistics.
May 29, 2013 at 1:28 pm #971256DrewdaneParticipantWill do – thanks again!
EDIT: You, Sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. And I’m wearing an awfully handsome new shirt right now.

I have an unworn XL that I’d be happy to give away, didn’t check the size when I caught it out of the cannon. Otherwise it’s going to become a bike rag.

Clarification–I’m talking about the blue BtWD shirts. I think you’re talking about the white “I [Bike Symbol] Arlington” shirts.

Yeah, how do we get those (the latter)?

We were shooting them out of a t-shirt canon in Rosslyn. It seems that people like them though, so we might think about getting a batch made up and seeing if we can selling them at the County building or at a LBS.
What do you guys think about cotton vs. tech fabric?

What’s the cost difference? And is there an option for a tech fabric that looks more “normal”

Unsure on costs. The tech fabric would be white and normal looking as well.
