I was involved in a severe bike accident two weeks ago on Friday, April 14 around noon. The accident occurred around mile 29 to 30. I was severely injured. I was transferred as a trauma patient to Fairfax hospital that requires extensive surgery to fix my pelvis, sustained a lot of blood loss and a bad head injury. Unfortunately, I don’t recall anything about the accident. I am an experience rider and am trying to figure out what caused the accident. An animal? Another rider? Did I pass out? Does anyone have any recollection of the incident or videos or ideas to share with me? The two riders who found me initially reported that I was unconscious and unarouwable, and they were concerned that I may have been a victim of violence. Thank you.
