Bicycle Fan Club Ride – Sunday, September 5

We’re back!! Yes, after a no-fans 2020 baseball season, I am happy to announce a 2021 Bicycle Fan Club Ride.
Anyone may join! All you need is a bike and a smile (and a few dollars).
You may join:

• Ride and game (recommended)
• Ride only (free)
• Game only (riders get first dibs on tickets)

Date: Sunday, Sept. 5
Time: 10am gather for coffee/socializing; 10:30 rollout
Location: Crystal City Water Park (note that there’s a new bakery/coffee shop right across the street)
Route: TBD (social ride pace with some interesting stops along the way)
Ride end: 12:30 ish at the Nats Park bike valet
Game: First pitch at 1:05pm. Game is against the NY Mets (boo!)

There are 14 tickets available to the first 14 who buy them. They are $30, payable to me. Includes your seat in section 306, some snacks and a prize for one lucky winner

I know, I know: the Nats will not be playing for a playoff spot. However, this is your chance to see some of the Nats young prospects play. Then in 2023, you can say “I saw ______ play in his 3rd major league game, and now he’s a star!” (or maybe not…)

Anyway, Bicycle Fan Club rides are tons of fun, and you should definitely join us.

There are still tickets available for the Sunday, September 5 Nationals Fan Club Ride.

The pre-game ride will be an easy 17-mile ride with three stops to see places of (recent) Nats historical interest.
