Eight tickets left!!

Although this is pretty much an all-day affair, you can choose to do part instead:

    A) Just the ride (10am – 1pm or so)
    B) Just the game (game time 1:35 pm)
    C) Both

People who choose C) get preference over those who choose B) for discounted ticket, free fries and contest with prizes.

Actually, sort of. Correct inning trumps. Then earlier prediction wins.

    Example: 3rd inning, no outs
    3rd inning, 2 outs beats 2nd inning, 2 outs

    Example: 3rd inning, 2 outs
2nd inning, no outs beats 4th inning, no outs

    Example: 3rd inning, one out
3rd inning, no outs, beats 3rd inning, 2 outs

We have several meet up points if you are unable to (or don’t want to) meet at Shirlington
    Ride Schedule (Route)
    Pre-ride Coffee/Pastry – Best Buns Shirlington
    10:00 AM – Depart Shirlington
10:15 – Depart Four-Mile Run/Mt. Vernon Trail intersection at south end of airport
10:40 to 10:50 – Depart SE corner 15th & Constitution (by the Museum of African American History)
11:30ish – Howard University Hospital – Georgia Avenue side
    12:45 – 1:00PM – Nationals Ballpark bike valet

There will be stops along the way to discuss fabulously interesting DC Baseball history that occurred at those locations. One is obvious; the others, not so much.

It won’t let me just pay you. It wants me to log in. I don’t have a PayPal account. What to do, what to do?

Hey, I’m trying to plot out my weekend schedule (surprisingly jam-packed, but with mostly fun things). Is that a 10 roll-out from Shirlington? Or a 10am “arrive and drink coffee for a while?”

Need to pick which church service I’m going to grace with my be-lycraed presence. :p

I suppose the more precise question is: there’s no gathering time. What time window should I aim for?

So, from what time may one gather to drink coffee, if departure is at 10 AM? Hillel said – from when it opens. Shammai said, one takes the time it takes to drink coffee, eat breakfast, wash up, and work backwards. For otherwise one would be idle. The sages follow the opinion of Hillel, except in winter, when would should not arrive before dawn, for the sake of pikuach nefesh (to save a life). Rabbi Gamaliel asked – but when is there a baseball game in winter? Rabbi Shimon said – I remember attending a baseball game in winter, but that was in Arizona.

SHADE!!

I have heard from some people (lookin’ at you, scoot) that they are concerned about the hot sun at the game. Our seats are in the shade.
So if that’s what’s been stopping you, you are stopped no more. Tickets are still available.
