Mark your calendar for this upcoming event

Bicycle Fan Club ride to the ballgame
    Sunday, June 25
Exact details still TBD, but I have already procured 16 tickets in section 305 for the 1:35 ballgame, Nationals v. Reds, which I’ll make available discounted to $25 each for Bicycle Fan Club riders.

The ride will precede the game with the intent to arrive at the bike valet by about 12:45 – 1:00.

More details to follow. Watch this thread.

Me too! Since I am likely skipping the Hilly Billy Roubaix this year, I will be in town. 😎

How fun! As soon as I get off the fence as to whether or not I’m going to a wedding that weekend, I’ll let you know! If I’m in town, I’m in. 😎

I have mapped a tentative route of approximately 18 miles. We will stop at 3 locations of DC historical baseball interest on the way to the game.
Make sure your calendar is marked. June 25.

Now that National Donut Day is past us, we can turn our attention to the bicycle+baseball event of the summer

June 25 Bicycle Fan Club Ride + Game

We have several meet up points if you are unable to (or don’t want to) meet at Shirlington

    Ride Schedule (Route here)

    Pre-ride Coffee/Pastry – Best Buns Shirlington

    10:00 AM – Depart Shirlington

10:15 – Depart Four-Mile Run/Mt. Vernon Trail intersection at south end of airport

10:40 to 10:50 – Depart SE corner 15th & Constitution (by the Museum of African American History)

11:30ish – Howard University Hospital – Georgia Avenue side

    12:45 – 1:00PM – Nationals Ballpark bike valet

There will be stops along the way to discuss fabulously interesting DC Baseball history that occurred at those locations. One is obvious; the others, not so much.

Your tickets are waiting for you. Section 305 (see the view). We have 16 seats together. Tickets will go to the first 15 who pay (I already took one). If we have more than that many interested, we’ll figure something out. Guarantee your spot by buying early.

Purchase your ticket for $25 on Paypal at steve /at/ offuttemail /dot/ youknowwhat

or if you don’t have a paypal account at paypal.me/steveoffutt

Please use the Pay Friends or Family choice so I’m not charged a fee.

    Ticket includes:

    • Your seat with 15 of your biking buddies
    • Entry into our exclusive contest to win a Nationals ballcap (2nd prize – beer or other beverage)
    • Free French Fries

See post below for updated details. Plenty of tickets available as of today.
The Nationals have several “Pups in the Park” promo games during the season, but I’m unaware of any “Kitties in the Park” games. ;)
