Anyone looking to sell a trailer?

Apparently someone stole my Chariot Cougar trailer from out behind my son’s preschool. (No, it wasn’t locked, but it was behind a fence etc. AND WHO WOULD STEAL A TRAILER FROM A PRESCHOOL!?!) Well, it had a good several-year run of daily usage. I’ll lock the trailer from now on, of course, but am a bit disillusioned with humanity that this is really necessary.

More to the point, I kinda need a way to pull my son home for the next year. Figure I’d ask here in case someone has one they’d like to sell but haven’t gotten around to posting it up for sale. Single or double. Protection from rain is important and needs to mount to a cup or something on the QR (as opposed to attaching to chainstay or seat stay, on account of the disc brakes).

(I’ve put in a few inquiry emails on CL, so maybe one of those will pan out too.)

Trailers seem to be a hot item for theft. I have a bob trailer you could borrow, but it might be awkward to strap el kiddo in??

Ha, thanks. Yeah, I don’t think that would work for the kid . I am ok for next couple days since I do have a Weehoo, but for rain (and then winter), I will want a trailer than can close out the elements. I am sure I will find one.

Just seeing this and not sure if you got it sorted… Our solo Burley (which the wonderful forum folks chipped in on as our going away gift) currently gets used mostly on weekends…. you’re welcome to borrow it in a jam, especially during the week until you find a replacement. We’re here until late September then off to Raleigh!

I did get the trailer sorted — picked a like-new Burley Bee up off of CL for $100, which will work great for the year or so we have left of use for it. Kids grow up quick. Pretty soon the 3yo will be copying his older brother and asking to get a road bike [as a second bike].
