    2. Alexandria Police Liaison Discussions – Lieutenant Jason North (invited)

    • Traffic Crash information involving people walking and biking

    3. Complete Streets Discussion

    • Speed management, SRTS

    4. COVID-19 pandemic update

    • Cases per 100k and Testing positivity both improved in the past month.
    • Cases per 100k in Alexandria averaged 9.1 for the past four weeks, but are up in the past week to 10.2
    • Test Positivity in Alexandria has generally continued to improve.
    • Policies: Effective 10/1, “Face coverings must be worn by all persons in public places,” with exceptions, including for biking and jogging. The measure passed 5-2.
    • Personal note: Add “Family gatherings” to indoor restaurants/bars, and gyms, day-care facilities and places of worships as places with higher risk settings.
