Does anyone have any experience with this ride?

24 hours going around a 2-mile flat loop. Registration is $55 with a $200 fundraising requirement. Someone I met on Climate Ride last year is trying to get me to do this and for some dumb reason I’m giving it serious thought as this year’s charity ride. It’s a cancer support thing with half the money going to LiveStrong and half staying local.
I can’t say the words “LiveStrong” give me a warm and fuzzy feeling but I’ve not really paid much attention recently.
