My bike was on the VERGE of falling off the edge of the narrow strip while I photographed a building named VERGE where, ironically, there was no VERGE (grassy strip on the edge of the sidewalk).
2/4/2024 – Verge of a merge.
I was at the VERGE of the end of the bike lane and had to merge into traffic.2/4/24 – The Runaway in Brookland was on the verge of closing until last week when they announced their landlord had decided not to hike the rent as high. Visit your local watering holes! Runaway is my weekly post-swim pint and burger joint.

On my team ride today consularrider shared the UK definition of verge, so I took a pic of one (Old Columbia pike & Downing street, same as his pic)
