I hope you can see the bottom – this tree grew a cleft right at the bottom. It’s ONE tree!
On Rock Creek trail just below the bathrooms at Tilden, near Beach & Broad Branch
2/2 cleft, I was so excited to have a music hunt but had forgotten the “t” so off to the department of rocks, here’s my best shot.

I asked two women if I could take a picture of their cleft. They called the cops, so you’ll have to settle for this rock that just so happens to be in the picture of the horse I was taking.
