I have a friend visiting who’s not a cyclist, so I promised her I’d ride only 10ish miles /day while she’s here, & she said she’s rude with me. So I got the pedals swapped out for flat pedals on one of my 🚴🏼‍♂️s, and we went on the Babe anyway for 5 (slow) miles.

Joan had made the ride start at Bluemont at 11 and go on the flat w&od, and they were all so patient with us!

Then on the way back Lynn Salvo & John B caught up with us and slowed down to ride with us, and they too were wonderful. Lynn rode with Nita (my old friend) for awhile and heard some of her back story (bit of a horror show) and encouraged her to write the books in her head…. And then John rode with us to my house and coached Nita on shifting better than anyone else had so far 💕🎊

Everyone was great! the complete OPPOSITE of ALOOF!

Then on the way back Lynn Salvo & John Brittain caught up with us and slowed down to ride with us, and they too were wonderful. Lynn rode with Nita (my old friend) for awhile and heard some of her back story (bit of a horror show) and encouraged her to write the books in her head…. And then John rode with us to my house and coached Nita on shifting better than anyone else had so far 💕🎊
