The Fountain Park is doing what it’s supposed to do.  Provide recreation and entertainment for the locals and tourists (like me).

1/14/24 – This lady was DOING good by picking trash on the trail along Needwood Road. She was using a grabber and a trash bag in a stroller as you can kinda see behind her. She wanted me to be in the photo too.

1/15/2024 – It was a bit too early for me to partake, but the National Museum of the American Indian has (in my opinion) the best lunch amongst all of the Smithsonian museums.

Busboys and Poets has many locations in the DMV has lots of LUNCH options, as well as a bar, bookstore, and community gathering place.
The name Busboys and Poets refers to American poet Langston Hughes, who worked as a busboy at the Wardman Park Hotel in the 1920s, prior to gaining recognition as a poet. Busboys and Poets is a cultural hub for artists, activists, writers, thinkers, and dreamers.

    1/15/24 – LUNCH

Silver is my favorite restaurant to have lunch. I won’t eat inside a restaurant due to COVID, but Silver has outdoor seating with a canopy and heaters. And it’s right by the Capital Crescent Trail.
