At least one of these. Or something that resembles it.
We spent a whole long time last year discussing what a bicycle was. It took up way too much time and energy. And ultimately, it doesn’t really affect the game. If someone is desperate enough for 11 points one day to define a skateboard as a bicycle, a) it will require more effort and more freezing than an actual bicycle, and b) the likelihood it will affect team standings is virtually nil. Plus, this is not the Olympics; when people are engaged in a friendly pick up game to win paper plates, we don’t need to sweat every trivial thing.
So ultimately, we banned the obviously abusive ones (ELFs and mopeds), and left it up to participants to decide what else they thought was a bicycle.

Combine this with the free year of toilet paper you could win from the NBC you’d be totally set.

Bikes that weigh less than 65 lbs. are also abusive.
Let’s keep going. We may have Freezing Saddles down to under 10 participants at this rate.
November 25, 2016 at 12:02 pm #1060889hoznParticipantI will throw out there that apparently in Switzerland gas-powered mopeds are allowed on the bike paths and it seems to work just fine E-bikes are ubiquitous also.
I think from previous debates e-bikes etc. are fine until they threaten to disrupt the competition, but so far the e-bike riders don’t ride all that much , relatively, so it doesn’t matter. To that end, I don’t think we’d have any problems with the Elf troll either, but that does seem a stretch.
November 25, 2016 at 12:53 pm #1060890LeslyJParticipantI’m in ….. Now if I can just figure out how to stay healthy this year.

But the Swiss have a long history of neutrality, a concept that apparently has not apparently crossed the pond to ‘Murrica

To ensure my ride is not abusive: can I count the trailer cycle attachment in the 65 lbs? What about the accompanying 5 year old?

So if I ride my 65-lb. bike, do I get credit for four times the miles?

Worth pointing out that would be pure anarchy! I’ve placed top 4 the last two years and as a team was DFL! That said they already do a decent job separating the ringers. If anything maybe Rod, Suby, and I can be on a three person team Also worth noting that we are all humans and none of us have super powers. The top three finishers last year all have children (whom they neglected for three month but that irrelevant). Point is anyone can be a ringer anytime they decided to, if that what you really want to be… besides I may decide I just don’t really want to ride much next year (wink;) wink;))

Oh yeah so true, and I WASNT in the top 4 last year either, he he he! Last year was insane, everyone involved is just plain nuts! (And you have a cat that was neglected for three months. Same deal)

I disagree with this notion of Swiss neutrality. They hide behind that falsehood to gather money from the persecuted and those subjected to genocide.
