2017 Coffeecatting "Challenge"

This year I’m finally getting up and going to Coffee Club. Usually I make/drink my coffee at home and then hurl myself downhill and somehow land at work in the morning. So this is making for the opportunity to try new and interesting brew:

Coffee Cat 1:

WTF Coffee Club (I think that’s the Thursday one?) at Whole Foods in Pentagon City–my first ever. The coffee was a carafe of drip so fresh they didn’t have a label on it. The important thing was it was caffeinated. It, and a good tail wind, had my flying to work.

Friday Coffee Club (Arlington) on a drizzly Inauguration Day! The drip coffee dejour was a Dark Indonesian roast with the flavors of dark chocolate. Also they didn’t give it to me in a ceramic mug which made me feel like an interloper and wasteful.

Sockneuring, coffeeneuring/coffeecatting, and doneuring in one prior to beerneuring. Donut was a run of the mill chocolate glazed Dunlin’ Donuts variety with a black decaf coffee. Nothing special but there are those cool socks.

I enjoyed a very nice cappaccino at 202 Donuts and Coffee. I also checked out a doughnut.

Another coffeecatting entry, a Cade da Logoa kaffee creme at Bäckerei Konditoei und Cafe Lautenschläger in Babenhausen.

Artifact coffee in Hampden, Baltimore, (in Union Mill) with QueenoftheMark. Coffee roasted by Counter Culture. I drank the regular drip blend, black, very good, complex flavors.
