ParticipantThanks Kathy, Chris, and Pete for joining BA All Stars!
We are now 18 strong. Currently the fourth largest team. We have lost our lead on points. A 70 member team (with members from 26 different counties!) has taken the lead and the contest hasn’t even started yet! It’s us against the world! We have stronger riders but a lot less of them. If everyone from Freezing Saddles joined Bike Arlington All Stars, we would have a big lead. Heck, if only Hans and Lena joined, we would regain the lead. Everybody is welcome to join especially Freezing Saddles riders Justin, Jeff, Christopher, Mark Williams, LIZ, Steves Claeys and Offutt, “Karen”, Cyndi, Brad, Trish, Buja, Ullrich, etc. etc…
The contest doesn’t start for real until May, but it’s not too early to sign up now.

I’m all for getting the freezers on the team, but do we have to enter our miles before the contest. Can’t we just lull them into a false sense of superiority?

Sure, thanks for signing up. You and three others on our team seem to have adopted that tactic. We gained another member overnight but Fish on Bikes gained 21 new members.
Kevin, I spelled your name wrong on purpose

I guess I got poached by Crystal City after being on the BA B team last year. I’m not sure how they knew to invite me, but I kind of like the idea of riding for a team that is identified for the city where I live, over [LargerRegion Letter]. That was before I knew the whole 10 member team size thing was done though. I thought 10 member teams worked really well last year. Oh well. I’m sure the BA All Stars will win this region, but hopefully CC will make you work for it.

I’m not a fan of traitors… crucify him? Oh, right. that went out of style a while ago. What do we do now? Out ride ’em! Put ’em to shame!

i just tried
Quote:Unfortunately the team is already full. Each team is allowed max 10 members!Though I can also clearly see the team has 19 members. If I remember my maths correctly 19 > 10.

Unfortunately the team is already full. Each team is allowed max 10 members!I got that message when I used the link someone posted. However I was able to join via the National Leaderboard filtered by Teams.

Unfortunately the team is already full. Each team is allowed max 10 members!I didn’t have any trouble signing up for Team Crystal City. Maybe try signing up for that team first, and then if you really want to you can switch over to the BA team.

ParticipantI was finally able to sign up via this page:
http://www.endomondo.com/campaign/national/leaderboard
using a link on the right asking if I wanted to join a team then searching for “Bike Arlington All Stars”. I was not able to join via the link on Bike Arlington’s page. Obviously there is something wrong with Endomondo’s programming.

You assume Endomondo wants to make it easy for you to join a team.

This worked (thanks) but fyi for anyone else trying it, you have to be on the “TEAMS” tab to get the link asking if you want to join a team. If you are on the “RIDERS” tab, whichyou don’t (or at least I didn’t) have that link.
