Does this mean that I need to join EndoMondo again?
Think of it as an opportunity to reflect on user interfaces.

Last year the Federal Cycling Commission pounded the miles and dropped most of the other federal agencies that participated. A good number of us our federal desk jockeys. Would you be interested in the different represented federal agencies forming teams, joining the NBC, and having our own rivalous competition as well?
Can we keep a link to Bike Arlington? How about Bike Arlington – Federal Cyclists Consortium?

ParticipantI might sign up again, but I’ll see if my previous team is returning. If so, I may stick with them. If not, I could join a 4th BikeArlington team.

ParticipantMy colleagues and I formed a workplace team last year. One of my colleagues is hoping to continue the tradition and wanted to get a little rivalry going with other financial services regulatory teams. If you work in financial services regulation, and think employees at your agency/organization might be fielding a team, let me know and I can put your team’s organizers in touch with him.

ParticipantSeeing as I’m in the bottom third in BAFS, I’d probably fit in well on the C team.

I’m at the Fed. I bet we could scrounge up a team to go against other regulators (who we may or may not feel frustrated with at times).

ParticipantAccording to a few posts on the site, teams are currently not limited in size (last year’s limit was 10), and what’s more, they’re all open, which seems weird and buggy. Things may change before the challenge goes live though.
The “Warm-up” period is from Feb 1 through now, I think.

It looks like instead of restricting team sizes, they started sorting the leaderboard by team size. That seems overly complicated to me, but whatever, I guess…

I also saw someone mention three teams sizes, up to 10, 11 – 99, and over 100.

ParticipantI joined the challenge myself, but would be happy to join a team of folks on here. Still new to bike commuting but managed 200 miles in February. I was happy as a beginner!

ParticipantWTF? If the teams don’t have equal number of riders, WTF? I don’t get it. I was conflicted about leaving my old team but it seems I’m no longer on it anyway, so WTF?
OK, I started a new team. It’s called Bike Arlington All Stars. I’d like to limit it to ten riders, until I figure out the advantages/disadvantages of small vs. large teams. If you are among the top nine in BAFS or your name is Pete Beers, you are welcome to join.
I thinks it’s a great idea to create a BA woman’s team.
Maybe we could have three ten member teams, The Men’s A team, Woman’s A team, Team Slacker (the B team, which could be a very strong team, given the riders here), and a bigger open team for everyone else (which could be a very strong team also).

I’m with those who favor of creating a team of our best riders that shoots right for the top.
Might want to check the standings Kathy, you’re one of them!

I will now be carrying extra water and a feed bag with me everywhere I ride so that I might call myself a domestique.

#4651 Katherine Lizotte 2236 p.
#4762 Greg Anderson 2202 p.
#5202 Rick Fulgencio 2057 p.
#5237 Ron Alford 2048 p.
#6477 Chris Slatt 1702 p.
#8091 Helen Reinecke-Wilt 1324 p.I use the term “current” to mean what the system has been provided. Many folks on the three teams stopped logging their rides/miles when the competition ended. Absent a few folks, the usual suspects are at the top of the list. If I were drafting a all star team, that is where I would start.
