BAFS 2016 Freezing Saddles Closing Happy Hour

For the sake of making sure the numbers are clear, I’ll be there.

Though it pains me to skip happy hour, I will be in Torquay, Victoria, Australia, hanging out at the beach in the southern hemisphere during the final happy hour. I’ll be sure to Tweet you a picture when we get back to Melbourne and I check out their bikeshare. Miss me bunches.

I see you disliking my post, Kwarkentien. I’d just like you to know how disappointed I am that I can’t make it. My first FS final happy hour was the year before I first participated in FS. I went to happy hour because tons of my friends were going and it seemed like a good time. Turns out it was, and it inspired me to participate the next year. And the next. And then to absolutely destroy my previous mileage records the next year.

So while I can’t attend this year, you can be sure I will be thinking about all of you, and looking forward to seeing you all at coffee clubs or group rides or whatever may come for the rest of the year.
