I think that would be cost-prohibitive. I’m sure we would have to guarantee much more money to the house if we effectively rented the entire space for a private party. Next year’s HH planning committee is free to make other arrangements for BAFS2017.

Yeah, I’m perfectly willing to leave that up to next year’s committee (if only because I’m familiar with the rule that if you complain, you get put in charge). I was just thinking that if we need more space, we’re going to end up with higher minimums wherever we go, so it might be worth trying to negotiate something with that place.

dkel and I tag teamed. He brought a small amp, and I brought a microphone. My mini-amp is in Charlottesville with my son still, but I can bring a mic if someone can bring an amp.

I plan to be there, along with my special prize for the most Hains Point Laps. If the individual who does the most doesn’t show up at the happy hour, it will go to a representative of the team that does the most. It’s a great prize.
