Since it’s Valentines day I thought I would start the Cliche why we love bike commuting list.

Here goes
1) I love the parts of my commute that I don’t even know how to get to by car.

I love:

getting up in the morning knowing I have a ride to look forward to

exploring new cities on a bike

going slowly enough to see things I hadn’t previously noticed and being able to photograph them

scaring the daylights out of my friends who tell me what I do is dangerous

meeting the people who ride bikes
