Hi Sam. I’m new to the forum, too and was very pleased to discover it, thanks to a posting about it on my favorite women’s cycling forum.

When the weather cooperates, I ride every day and am an endurance rider (200+ miles a week). Not particularly fast but who really cares? I ride for the joy of it and to be outside. Unfortunately, I haven’t been on an outdoor ride in a while due to the ice/snow and cold.

About me: female, will be 47 in a few weeks, married for 21+ years to the same guy, no kids but “mom” to three golden retrievers, fed’l bureaucrat. Rediscovered my love of biking in the early aughts (broken down half-/full marathon runner). I’m also a swimmer and hiker.

How is the W&OD from Columbia Pike to Lee Hwy? I haven’t ridden outdoors in too long and miss it. Must say that spending all these hours on the trainer with Coach Troy is paying off and by the time I hit the pavement again, I’ll reap the rewards of the suffering!
