Dogue Creek as it passes the Mount Vernon Grist Mill & Distillery on its way to the Potomac. It widens significantly just a little downstream and forms the basis for the Ft. Belvoir Marina. My local state senator organizes an annual clean up of Dogue Creek further upstream which pulls out TONS of trash.

Desperate times call for desperate measures….my original targets closed before I could get there. I will admit that if I could have figured out how to get a pic if that gorgeous moon over any of the local pizza places, I would have done that….I can’t get “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s Amore!” out of my head….[emoji444][emoji445]
