Busky Hard Cider. Jalapeño is a bit too dry. Duck Sauce doesn’t really taste like anything Asian. Big place and big selection but underwhelming.

Islay Brewing Company

Interesting stuff here, Brown Betty is a very dark cider-y. Grapefruit IPA is grapefruit-y but quite pithy. Chai porter is a little on the light side but the peanut butter porter is suuuper peanut buttery!

Ardent Craft Ales

My favorite is the IPA X (NE style w Citra!!) and the Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout. The latter is perfect as a dessert!

I wasn’t a fan of the Leigh St. There is a fruity aftertaste I’m starting to see in some NE IPAs that turns me off.

Blue Bee cidery experimental flight. Very funky smelling, extremely different than the run of the (cider) mill (pun!) ciders.

New District, had the 4MRV IPA… west coast bitter, but quite tasty!

I just want to say that the time spent to make this whole thing was well worth it (and probably took quite a while!). Kudos to all those who set up and maintain the IT aspect. I understood only a tiny slice of that original post, and couldn’t tell if you were just f-ing around and writing nonsense or not (looks like not).

Another fortuitous scenario where I was motivated to ride from this stupid contest AND happened upon a cidery that I didn’t know existed.

Having the house flight at Capitol Cider House. Good selection, good prices, games are available as well as food!
