Finally made it to Denizens. Had the Brett IPA, which was really really good! Unfortunately I could only stay for one.

Opening weekend. Had a glass of the Goatman IPA. It was better than their beers in the past, but not a ‘must have’.

Participant+1 point for numbering my posts (per post #10). That’ll make it #26.

Participant#22-25 (3 point bonus!) Red Bear Brewing pioneer!
Got a flight of a wheat pale ale (very good), witbier (not my fave but that’s because it’s a wit), “both coast” ipa (needs more aromatic hops), and the DIPA (quality west coast double).
Drink uppppp!

Mad Fox. You know where it is, you know what they have. Orange Whip for me, Love is Love for her. I’m liking the Love is Love a bit better.

Second one out in the ‘burbs. Settle Down Easy Brewing.
This one is a new fave! Had a flight and there were multiple great beers. The NE IPA and Peanut Butter Stout were both delicious.
I’ll be back.

Finally made my way out west!
Caboose. First up is the Vanilla Bean Hobo Stout. Sweet imperial stout. Slight vanilla flavor. They don’t have the best hoppy beers but the dark ones are more on point. This was pretty good, I’d have another.

ParticipantThe route was pretty non-existant. Scott’s Addition has an absurd number of breweries within a block or two of each other so you just go to the next closest one. The only one I went to that was out of the way was The Answer. There are a ton of other breweries in downtown as well as just outside, so you could make a more ‘fitness oriented’ route if you prefer. Because the answer was about 4 miles away, I ended up averaging about 1.6 miles per brewery. Without The Answer that would be more like 0.3!

Finally got to hellbender. Having a double chazzwazer. Tastes great, well balanced. Order one if you like IPAs!

Blonde stouts are always interesting but the DIPA is worth coming back for.
