ParticipantFunny you should ask just now – I just rode it last night after work (6 ish).
Others who ride it regularly (and in the dark) can tell you about their experience. Mine: I got on at R St. and rode to Brookland, and don’t ride there often. It was not busy (i saw maybe 3 bikes and 8 walkers/joggers during my ride). I was pleasantly surprised, though, when I saw 2 bike cops on a bench on the trail. That made me feel better, because there were stretches when I was alone – and sometimes as a lone female on a trail , I do feel vulnerable.July 10, 2018 at 1:47 pm in reply to: Cyclist Dies After Being Struck By Truck On M Street NW #1088290streetsmarts

I presume the signaling will change now (and maybe daylight the intersection). So horrible that someone has to die for that to happen.
For those of us who are new at traffic planning stuff – can you explain daylighting the intersection please? and re signaling – there would still be a right turn on red, right? So how would a change in signaling have helped?

ParticipantPer Steve O in Jan. ’18:
If you use Google calendar, you should be able to add it to your list of calendars, which you can then turn on and off as needed. You can then also copy events, like the final HH, to your personal calendar. **Most people who played last [Freezing Saddles] year should have editing rights, which allow you to add and edit events. If you would like to have editing rights and you don’t already, please PM me, and I will take care of it. **
