Napa Trifecta Ride Stop 1: Laird Family Vineyards. Yum!!! I did the full tasting- this place is incredible. This place is an enormous grape producer, they only label 3% of their own wines. All 5 wines on the tasting get 5 stars!

Last stop of the Napa Trifecta Ride – I had the Mallet Session IPA. It was a light IPA, just what I needed at that point in the day! 9e11526fa5754679aae7d68591c7cce7.jpg 28662cd3cd242a9fbf49aa32c9069a34.jpg

As for the lobster claws, what I do is to have the “Extreme Cold” version of Bar Mitts on my handlebars. With ski gloves under those, I can go down to at least 0°. And the ski gloves don’t seem to interfere with shifting.

WHAT??! Extreme Cold barmitts? Must investigate immediately!

Beer tour final stop: Caboose Commons – recommended by Boomer. I didn’t know Caboose had a Merrifield location! TheHop on Board IPA was good – the grilled cheese was amazing 152f9661545e118fa7a536b57c438ec5.jpgb386daecc0d7b7183a5d64cdb35b444b.jpg

Beer tour, stop 4: Settle Down Easy. I felt like something lighter, so went with the 2Cloud 9. It was light, fruity, & yummy.

Stop 2 on the beer tour: Audacious Aleworks! I had the Belgian Tripel. Great space, good popcorn & great debate (what percentage of Americans have run a half marathon, ever???)

So – did some sleuthing… the beer was Bravo. It was strong. Reji was impressed I drank it after a 50mile Ride. It was delicious. It inspired Reji to buy a 4-pack to bring home.

Hi All! Hope you can make Saturday’s beer-Ride! The route link is below (thanks so Sunyata for your help!). We’ll be riding past the Falls Church Distillery for those who are Spiritnuering, & anyone who wants to hit a 4th brewery at the end, Caboose is just a bit further. Food is available at both Mad Fox & Settle Down breweries.

I’ll be at Best Buns a little before 10am if you’d like to get a coffee/snack. Wheels down at 10:15am. Looking forward to seeing you!

Well – I realized my light only stopped randomly turning on because it died completely [emoji17] Looks like I’m in the market (ASAP) for a new light. Like one I can buy at a LBS tomorrow. I loved the cyglolite (but it only lasted 3 years) anything better out there?

Thanks! I would have gone with it alone. Maybe my current light will work out. It hasn’t turned on randomly in over an hour! [emoji1696]
