Dumb question that i’m pretty sure i should know the answer to, but is it safe to assume that if we were on the wait list and are not now, we are on a team? how do we know which team we are assigned to?

I poked around a bunch of the threads but I think I’m missing it. Thanks for any advice!

A calvinball was sneakily whisked away this evening on a magical fairy ride…

It reappeared later and went for a single speed mountain bike ride, in a failed sleaze attempt!

Unfortunately I believe I’ve followed all of the steps (have data from the 1st out there, joined the FS group on strava, checked all the grant access boxes, etc) , but still get an error when doing the oauth for the site. I had this issue when I registered, but thought maybe it was a hold over from last year’s data or something, if I was premature.

Authorization Failed
There was an error authorizing the Freezing Saddles application to access your Strava account.
Error code: ATHLETE_NOT_FOUND

No urgency from me, I just want to make sure I don’t get bumped out for lack of participation

i think i registered correctly… i got a 500 error when authorizing the strava data collection, but pretty sure i did it a week or two ago and maybe it’s just duplicative. ponderous.

Apologies to Steve O and others, I was surprised to find Stryke’s drop of the calvinball in Georgetown a mere couple hours before you all.

Lamely, I got sidetracked and didn’t get it redeposited in a timely manner. I anticipate demerits.

I did enjoy the goodies inside. I added more. Go pick it up in the AM.

I moved it across a river, though not as far as I would have liked. It’s pretty embarassing that by a mishap the calvinball traveled far further in my car than it did by bike. Don’t worry, the pickup and drop off and all in deltas therein were covered by bike. Maggie inspected everything closely. Again. I also abused a sleaze ride for this, woopsie.

this calvinball deployment is due to a seriously sweet lay-up by a certain bearded wizard.

hopefully i hid it well enough, but not too well.
i enjoyed half of the bourbon, and deviated from the theme a bit with some goodies of my own, enjoy!

crossed a river with the ball (once on a bike, twice in a car, is that cheating?). i think i avoided nps though that b0rked many of my original ideas. hopefully this is easy enough for anyone to find! it’s near the scene of the opening happy hour, at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in dc.

obviously, Maggie was involved, aiming for black lab points.
