ParticipantWeekly pre-registrations? Matrimony is an easier commitment than weekly happy hour anticipated arrival time pre-registrations every Friday. I’m glad they are resurrecting this after the year we’ve all had, but all I have to say is OOF!

ParticipantEvent gurus- happy to bring the party Mini down again and wondering how best I could safely provide snacks etc. in the Covid environment. Gloves? Sanitizer? Disposable plastic tarp for the trunk? Hand sanitizer give always? Any thoughts/suggestions? Trying to do something safely if feasible.

A neighbor asked me to post that he was riding an eBike on the Custis Trail today and was yelled at by a cyclist in an intimidating manner. Apparently it was about hin using an eBike on the trail, which as we all know is legal as long as the speed limit is observed (the neighbor says he was observing the speed limit).
Let’s all continue to be polite, to know the law, and to expect others to do the same.
Wow- totally uncalled for by the cyclist. I’ll admit that sometimes when I am huffing and puffing up the Custis hills in my granniest gear, I’ve been known to utter a few swear words quietly under my breath as someone on an e-bike cruises past me without a hint of breathing hard or drop of sweat. This, however, stems entirely from my envy. Civility on the trail should be mandatory.

Saturday is looking to be a fantastic day for a Team 13 themed ride. This will be a modified route using WABA’s 13 Colonie ride with revised starting/finishing point. The route includes all the state streets that are part of the original 13 Colonies. The total distance is approximately 15mi. The plan is to meet at the Reach park at Kennedy Center and clip-in at 10am.
The weather is expected to be below freezing and windy at start time, and remain largely so for the duration of the ride, please plan accordingly. Helmet, mask, and proper social distancing etiquettes are required. Please do not participate if you exhibit any noticeable, problematic pandemic symptoms. DC traffic/general RoW rules will also be observed.
There is no scheduled stop for this ride, but certainly open to any post ride, responsible gathering if there are interests.
Here is the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35081890
All FS riders welcome, but unlike WABA rides, this ride will depart promptly on-time.
Since this route is actually 15 miles and not, 13, I will infiltrate on behalf of Team 15!!!

There are no pups yet, so here’s a submission for cat 10. More crappy pics–I have to figure out how to get good snaps when it’s too cold to feel my fingers and I can’t stop to look at the photo until I’m home/in my car where it’s warm–but these little feet were all lit up in my headlight. Cute doggo boots!
Those are some super snazzy Doggo boots. Good find!!!
