Participant#FS2020 ParkFinder Entry #2
Hollywood Park per google maps, but just looks like an overgrown forest. No park sign, maybe a future park?
9) National Memorial Park- which is actually just Hollywood Cemetery. Cemetery for pets, Buddhists, those not dead yet, and a baby cemetery.
10) Jefferson District Park which has an amazing mini golf course.
11) Dunn Loring Park
12) Idylwood Park
13) Strawberry Park- not much of a park- fake turf, no sign, usually a million kids running off their sugar highs.

Artisan Confections, MerrifieldLocal chocolatier with actual production in their Arlington facility. Fair trade sourced cocoa with locally sourced other ingredients such as Maryland mint. They also have a decent assortment of VEGAN chocolate confections including bananas walnut, which was super yum! Bike parking was good although biking to Mosaic District in general kinda sucks.

BarTaco in MerrifieldBike parking is hit or miss, but tacos are very rico. I had the cauliflower & portobello tacos. YUM! HF had the duck and pork belly tacos. No FLOOR tortillas here and price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Participant#FS2020Parkfinder Day #1
1. Spirit of Justice Park which has no sign. I’m going to talk to someone about this on Monday.
2. West Potomac Park
3. East Potomac Park. Side note- same friggin location just one half is West and the other East. Makes no sense to me, but did a small loop just in case.
4. Gravelly Point Park. Yes technically this is a park according to the NPS sign fine print.
5. WOD Regional Park.
6. Glen Carlyn Park
7. East Falls Church ParkI love how in DC just by tooling around your hit 7 parks almost by accident. I’m very lucky that I work on a campus full of parks, but unfortunately they are massively underutilized.

TACO HUNT #1
The game is on. I’ll give some clues and once tacos are procured near by I’ll let you know if they are sweaty or rico.
These taco treats are tremendously good and authentic. Hidden in a hillside, help yourself to a corn base tortilla and a jarrito. There is usually a line outside so dress up and enjoy.
TACO HUNT IS ON!
