ParticipantBump. Still for sale. And having end of summer sale! Now $1600! And I will throw in a VeloFix “Basic Tune-up” at your work or home ($90 value). Surely you aren’t at s-1 bikes yet!

ParticipantI did this last year. I would recommend going around to the East side of Moultrie Courthouse. There are 5 racks that get much less pedestrian traffic and are still in sight of guards inside.

ParticipantVery easy to walk the CaBi and dog at the same time. And when dog needs to do his business the CaBi has a kickstand. Only problem is the limited range, but right now it’s the only workable option for me.

ParticipantOn my commuter bike I busted a pair of plastic fenders. I’ve upgraded to flat metal from Civia:
http://products.wheelandsprocket.com/civia_flat_42mm_fenders_aluminum_pewter_700x35_bike_fenders_mudguards_51632409.phpI prefer the look of these over the curved type because they are less noticeable, but still work plenty good. This guy has some good pics on his site: https://volagi.wordpress.com/2012/02/01/how-to-mounting-civia-flat-aluminum-fenders-to-your-volagi-liscio/
I think they sell version made out of bamboo if you’re into that.

ParticipantRode from Crystal City to DC this afternoon through the LBJ grove and over the wooden bridge. The bridge was quite frozen over in the morning but coming through this afternoon, there is a small clearing on the north side of the bridge. Almost rideable. But from the bridge to the LBJ parking lot is still a mess. See photos.
