ParticipantA small part of an Aniekan mural celebrating Langston Hughes and NE DC. Parked cars prevented me from getting more of it into the shot.

ParticipantThis is near a dirt road that used to appear on one of my apps as Railroad Ave. This art is hiding behind an abutment that’s supporting I-295. The gravel road crosses several active rail lines. As far as I know, this road no longer appears on any maps.

ParticipantI had been thinking about this one recently. I’d forgotten where it was and what it was but I knew there was something good up here in Kenilworth. Today there was a broken Watson at the Kenilworth Pool and I found the Aniekan I couldn’t quite remember. This is half of it and half of the Watson.

I recently found that one, too, at 1625 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209 (hint, hint re location, location;-)

Nice shot with the people in it and your spokes playing on the heavy black lines the artist uses and tying the art into the cityscape. I stalked this one for days. The car leaves in the evening but shadows play havoc in the golden hour. Finally I settled for a mostly unobstructed view (except for my bike, haha) on an overcast afternoon.
I did say Quinn St and Wilson Blvd in the title but I know you want city and state. Sorry
