When I need new tires, I think I will try the Schwalbe G-One tires. Just wish they offered it in a 30 or 32. Oh man, S does offer this one as a 30, http://www.schwalbetires.com/bike_tires/racing_tires/s-one That may be the perfect tire for my Colossal.

Currently, I have just too many tires to justify buying any more. I have five CX tires I love with worn tread but no carcass damage. And three Bonti AW3 28c tires that are nearly new, great tires except for not being tubeless and being a bit narrow. I want to use all of these tires up before getting any new ones.

I hope so and hope it is done more often.

My 500 mile estimate may be a bit low.

Post air-ing down my pressure was only 30 in the Roubaix. Felt fine and just a tad softer than fine yesterday during my commute. The Bonti AW3 is at 40 and that feels perfect. (BTW, I think my digital gauge is consistent bit not accurate, I assume the real psi values are 20% higher)

I know some continental tires have small holes that serve as wear indicators. Looks like that could be the case here?

I hope not, this tire has maybe 500 miles on it.

Here are my Spec Roubaix Pro 2BR tires with some miles on it. It has developed these small round holes in various places. They do not seep sealant at all.

I also have one cut (photo did not come out) that was leaking sealant. I put more Stan’s in and it now is sealed up fine. Held the whole 52 mile Rough Roubaix without and more seepage.

And regarding pressure, I pumped it and the Bonti 28 on the front to 62. That was way too hard, I dropped both mid-RR to an unknown level and was much happier.

No group ride this week, Wed April 6th, nor next week, Wed April 13th. I will be away. Rides will restart on Wed April 20th starting a little later, at 6:00. In May as the days get longer, I plan to move that to 6:30.

The map pulls from DCDOT GIS information. Yes, please let them know. What is incorrect? I can also pass it along to some of the transportation folks too.

And what is incorrect in Arlington County?

Nothing according to my knowledge, is wrong with the Arlington County info. I had made the incorrectly assumed the application Bike Arlington is hosting, BikeArlington Counter Dashboard, could be updated without involving DC DOT. That application has the data wrong but as you pointed out, DC DOT, is responsible for that.

It’s an NPS park, right? But I assume you know that since you were leading the ride there for the Bike Summit and seemed buddy-buddy with IMBA and the NPS rep there. I feel like I should ask you who to contact!

NPS has the trails right, as does the OSM and those that use that as source material. It is the DC bike maps that have it wrong. And since it seems the Bike Arlington maps use the DC data as source material, they also have it wrong.

I will make a DC DOT request, as a private non-resident who they do not know, and see how long it will take them to respond. Shame someone who has an established relationship with them cannot contact them, suspect that would speed the process a lot. Same goes for Arlington County and Bike Arlington, does anyone know who at Arlington CO or Bike Arlington to contact?

So I have the pdw full city fenders mounted on my Indy Fab and…. I am about to take them off. The toe overlap on this bike is just too much. This fenders will be great on my salsa colossal that has no overlap.

It is an adults XL. Suspect it will not fit your daughter.

Also, what about getting a counter on the Anacostia River trail? One between the MLK and Penn Ave bridges would show totals that may surprise a lot of folks. Of course I would like one in Ft Dupont, on the most popular section between Texas/Ridge and Mass, but suspect that is a dream too far.

    Sweet, the levers are hers.

Yes the 105 levers will easily replace her Tiagra levers with no problems. Shimano road 10 speed spacing is consistent across the product ranges. I only stoppe dusing them because I went back to 9 speed. Why? So I could run MTB derailleurs.
