I do have one of those and like it, but yes not enough to post on boards 1500 miles away from me. I got it after seeing this review with info about the brightness to the sides.

I have since moved on tyo the L&M 180 Micro. Nice to have be able to recharge it and the side angle brightness is even greater.

And to the original poster, no way will you get a summer out of the batteries in that light. The Superflash turbo draws a lot of current.

Spoke too early before it included my lunch ride. We are now nine points ahead!

Well I have run and ridden the same distance this week.

Plan to sleaze today and ride in the 17 miles to work on Wednesday. Hope to commute home on Thur and in on Fri. Really trying out the pattern of driving in every other day and drive home the other days. So nice I can leave my car overnight at work like that. Doing the 17 both ways is often just too much.

Well I am about to go run the 1 mile around my building and then ride my 40 pound old commuter around the building. Bet it will take more than 7 mins if you include lock and unlock time plus a coughing attack or two.

I loved watching our ranking bounce all over the top four this weekend. Things are really tight right now between the top four. Paul G is the only one that hasn’t joined the team app yet, but once he does he has already earned over 100 points so we should bounce back up.

Totally cool being Captain. Sorry I was still feeling a bit ill and missed the happy hour. Will create the team and send out invited in a few mins.

In the end my Jan 1st ride was very bad for me. I really got hit hard by the flu Friday and today (Jan 7th) is the first day I am back at work since. I bet during the ride I was very infectious so you should be happy you did not join me. The ride did not cause this but did weaken my ability to deal with it and heal. Might try a sleaze ride today but won’t be up for anything longer for days. Sad to know that I was 3rd overall Jan 1st and now have dropped to nearly 70th. Any plans I had to be a high scorer this year are out.

Hey, lemme know how this was today. I might ride your route tomorrow if it wasn’t too muddy today.

We did not end up going on the trails and stuck to the C&O.

This guy road part of those trails today and called his ride muddy:

Thanks, Raymo853. I have a few others who may want to ride, too, but we are all roadies and not all comfy on mud & grit, so I think I’ll pass on this invite. But let me know of any pavement rides you plan in 2015. Happy new year.

You could always stay with us on the C&O and then we could split at Blockhouse.

Would you welcome tag alongs that might only make half or less of your Strava century route?

Yes please join us. Meeting one non-forum person under the Chain Bridge at 8. We are both bringing CX bikes and planning to diverge up onto the trails at Blockhouse Point. As long as it is not muddy, we plan to ride the lower MoCo course backward-ish then come back on the C&O.
