I like technical riding as well hence why I like the Shed however I’ve never done Elizabeth Furnace so I can’t compare.

I am going to Pittsburgh next weekend. If the weather Monday is favorable, I might stop at the Shed on the way back here. But it will be hard to resist a stop at Wolf Rock’s near Latrobe PA instead.

I have been by your place many times. I have ridden every section of the trip, but never at once. My parents live in North Huntington right on the border with Mckeesport. This is my route.

I am now changing this idea a bit. I think in early March I will rent a car, drive to my parents and then ride back to DC camping along the way. My wife and I are then going to ride the opposite way some time later and may not go the whole way.

I’ll be there. Will be headed home to Shirlington via the Key Bridge and Custis is people wish to convoy. Not sure how long I will stay as I tend to get sleepy early.

Decided I wanted to prioritize these. The top one to me switched from the Ring of Fire to riding the C&O and Gap trail to my parents.

    1. Ride the C&O and GAP trail to my parent’s house in three days. (They live near Pittsburgh) https://www.strava.com/routes/3818881
    2.
    A. Continue the work with MORE, REI, and the National Park Service to get the new plans for Fort Dupont off to a good start. BTW, expect a posting with more details about this after Jan 7th.
    B. Find someone to take over for me as the MORE Trail Liaison Role for Fort Dupont. (Expect a posting about this as well)
    3. Ride the Elizabeth Furnace Ring of Fire over two or three days http://www.rodeo-labs.com/2015/06/16…-ring-of-fire/
    4. Ride a few of the DC Randonneur events, hopefully with Rod
    5. Ride a quad Rosaryville Loop, two clockwise and two counter clockwise without the inner loop.
    6. Finally ride the Dragon’s Tale Race http://www.mtntouring.com/mountain/h…event-page.htm
    7. Friendly group rides to do:
    A. Hills of Anacostia & Rock Creek DONE
    B. Few more of the Bikenetic Gravel rides
    C. Tues Hills morning ride
    D. The ending BAFS
    E. Some of the Coffee Club rides
    9. Go on the Bike Rack’s Sunday ride again
10 Join the Hanes Point morning hammerfest
    10. Finally ride both Mt Weather and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
    11. Explore Green Ridge State Forest more, it is a hilly gravel grinder paradise. https://www.strava.com/activities/333644926
    12. Join BAFS2016 and finish with a promise of no sleaze rides. DONE
    13. Sell and give away a lot of bike stuff. (STARTED)
    14. Explore Cedarville State Forest again and update the OSM for the area. (DONE) http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/38.6386/-76.8223

Removed: — Ride a quad Arlington Loop, two clockwise and two counter clockwise.

I have never enjoyed the Shed. Strongly prefer the rocks at Elizabeth Furnace.

It may be that I have never really given the Shed a good try. When it comes to rocks, I have hopes, slim, to ride at Davis WV once more. Both the moonscape rocks, and the damp rocky & rooty stuff there really appeals to me.

The trail alignment in Fort Dupont is off of course. The OSM for those parks is pretty good, since I made sure to correct it all.

One more item to add, sell all the extra parts, bikes and frames I have. Somebody already laid claim to my Lemond Poprad, but there will be a lot more: cranks, brakes, forks, frames, wheels, that will be sold or go to Velocity

“Less weird”? Who told you that was as desirable goal for this competition? :D

Less weird means no weird Strava stalking of people or caring about my points or rankings.

And one to add, reverse my decision and join BAFS16 since I won’t be here next year to really join.

You could also make sure you hit all 8 weekly coffee clubs (not including the Women & Bikes one).

May not get all 8, but some without a doubt.
