One translation for “randonnée” is “ramble.” I’ve done some randonneuring rides (which was my original inspiration for the name), but I tend more to actually ramble around when I ride. Also, I like the Led Zeppelin song.

Honestly, I don’t care what team I’m on. As long as I am able to bike when I can and my team won’t give me a hard time, I’m happy.
